QOTG is a platform created to uplift, celebrate, promote, educate and increase the representation of women working in the arts, entertainment and live performance industry. The initiative is rooted in support for BIPOC women and non- binary music professionals working in the genres of hip hop, r&b, soul, reggae, cultural, indigenous and electronic music. We provide performance and professional development opportunities including industry advice by reputable delegates in a safe space and learning environment for musicians from marginalized communities.

Steering the Cultural Movement

Beyond the mic, BIPOC women are the executives, producers, and tastemakers shaping the industry. Their vision defines the sound and drives the culture forward with unshakeable authority.

The initiative was created by way of a first of its kind for Toronto as an all womxn's online radio show "Queens of the Game" (2012 - 2018) hosted by Gabrielle Rubaine. In 2019 the show manifested into an annual music summit with industry panels and live music showcases highlighting women who are leading the hip hop culture forward.
